Where the two-day trek ends, this adventure truly begins. During this three-day expedition, you become one with the sled, the dogs, and the endless white plains of Sápmi. The first day is dedicated to finding your rhythm, but it is on the second day that you truly feel the deep connection with your loyal team of huskies as you glide even deeper into pristine nature.

The guide leads you across frozen rivers and through silent, snow-covered valleys where humans rarely venture. Here, it is not the clock that dictates the pace, but the daylight and the energy of the dogs. You leave the hustle and bustle of daily life completely behind; in this vast wilderness, there is room to simply be, and a sense of ultimate freedom.

The evenings in the remote wilderness cabin are the heart of the journey. After caring for the dogs under a clear starry sky, hopefully with the dancing Northern Lights above you, you warm up in the sauna and share experiences by the fireplace. A warm welcome to a frozen world

Your adventure begins at 9:00 AM, when you are picked up for the transfer to the base in Laxforsen. Here, we get ready for the expedition. You will be fitted with full gear: warm overalls, shoes, hats, and gloves. After thorough instruction on steering the sled and handling the dogs, it is time to depart. As soon as the signal is given, the barking stops and the serene journey through the snowy forests of Jukkasjärvi begins.

Day 1: 9:00 AM Transfer, dog sled ride, dinner, overnight stay at wilderness camp
Day 2: Today after breakfast, you will go on a beautiful dog sled ride. Dinner and overnight stay at the wilderness camp again.
Day 3: Breakfast and dog sled ride; you will be back around 12:00 PM.

Spending the night in the wilderness camp

As soon as the signal is given, the barking stops and the serene journey through the snowy forests of Jukkasjärvi begins.

Day 1: 9:00 AM Transfer, dog sled
You will spend the night in our authentic wilderness camp, built in 2016. The camp has no electricity or running water, ensuring the ultimate off-grid experience. The cozy 50 m² guest cabin features a shared living room, kitchen, and sleeping area for 6 to 8 people.

For the overnight stay, you will be provided with a warm sleeping bag and sheets. The heat of the wood-fired sauna and the cozy barbecue hut make the stay complete. Morning, dinner, overnight stay at wilderness camp

Day 2: Today after breakfast, you will go on a beautiful dog sled ride. Dinner and overnight stay at the wilderness camp again

Day 3: Breakfast and dog sled ride; you will be back around 12:00.

Culinary delight among the snowflakes

Dag 1: Lunch & diner: In de wildernis smaakt alles beter. Na aankomst in het kamp en de verzorging van de honden, geniet je van een gezamenlijk diner in de hut.

Dag 2: Ontbijt, lunch & diner: De dag begint met een voedzaam ontbijt om je klaar te stomen voor een lange dag op de slee. De lunch wordt vandaag een echt buitenavontuur: de gids maakt een kampvuur in de sneeuw waar we opwarmen met een warme maaltijd en koffie. Na de terugkomst bij de hut en de verzorging van de honden, sluiten we de dag af met een stevig diner terwijl de gids verhalen deelt over het leven in het Hoge Noorden.

Dag 3: De volgende ochtend staat er een stevig ontbijt klaar om weer energie op te doen voor de terugtocht. , waarna je doorreist naar je volgende avontuur

Met je eigen husky team op pad

As soon as the starting signal sounds and the dogs are allowed to unleash their power, silence suddenly falls. The enthusiastic barking gives way to nothing but the rhythmic panting of the huskies and the soft crunching of the runners on the snow.

The guide leads you through the fairytale landscape of Jukkasjärvi and the Torne Valley, across frozen lakes and through forests bowed heavily under a shimmering layer of white snow. You are on your way to a place where time stands still: a remote wilderness camp.

Upon arrival, the real outdoor life begins. You first take care of your loyal team of dogs, after which you fetch water from the frozen lake for the sauna. After a day full of exertion, there is nothing as pure as the warmth of the sauna, followed by a communal dinner under the stars.
